Bio: Rico Rose (Diné) is an Indigenous community member of the Indigenous St. Louis Working Group, committed to providing leadership and support for developing strategies that promote Indigenous inclusion and cultural revitalization in spaces and events across the broader Saint Louis region. With a background as a local horticulturist specializing in native plants and sustainable landscaping, and as an entry-level programmer utilizing digital networking and databases for Indigenous food sovereignty, seed rematriation projects, and land stewardship initiatives, they bring a unique perspective and passion for questioning the status quo of current cultural practices.
